I'm into people dressing up for Halloween, and I feel like every year it gets bigger and bigger in the UK. I was in Brighton and saw so many excellent costumes (including a couple who looked like they were in their office clothes from the back, but from the front they both had sad grey faces and hair. They were also a bit drunk and swaying slightly, so the final effect was two zombies who'd gone for it hard at the work party). My night was made by a group of Harry Potter fans standing outside a pub, I don't think I'll ever forget how wonderful it was to see a very convincing Voldemort having a fag with Mad Eye Moody, Sirius Black, Hagrid and Hermione. It was like witnessing a parallel universe where they'd all forgotten their differences and become best buds. Meanwhile I just plonked on this cape, my new dress from Zara and my boots and said, "Um I feel kinda witchy". I suck.
